Franklin Robert (1933-1990) was an American author of Fantasy and Science Fiction novels.
He is famously known for his Horseclans novels which he wrote under the name Robert Adams, a short form of his full name.
Adams is among the first writers to venture into the post-holocaust novel. The Horseclans novels are the predecessors to a lot of current trials of this genre of story.
Many of today’s books do not bring out the diligent, detailed view of the world or the plot that Adams could hatch but still make it very easy to follow. Most of his Horseclans books are intertwined, and they only bring out meaning when they are read in chronological order.
