THIS news reporter had a very awkward moment on telly – but her response is legendary.

Hallie Jackson, a correspondent for NBC news, was delivering a segment on the US elections when something very awkward happened.

As the reporter was talking to camera, a massive ball of snot made its way down Hallie's nose into view on screen.

Ever the professional, Hallie continued to talk to camera as the glob slowly dangled down, hung around for a couple of painful seconds and then dripped onto the floor.

Even though Hallie didn't acknowledge the embarrassing malfunction, lots of people spotted the incident.

But, rather than curling up in a ball and not leaving the house like everyone else in the world might want to do, Hallie took it all in her stride and tweeted out a hilarious recovery.
