    This is a Korean name; the family name is Kim.

    Kim Yeon-ah (Hangul: 김연아; Hanja: 金姸兒, IPA: [kimjʌna]; born September 5, in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do) is a South Koreanfigure skater.

    She is the Olympic champion in ladies singles, the World champion, the Four Continents championship, a three-time (–, –, –) Grand Prix Final champion, the World Junior champion, the – – ISU Junior Grand Prix|Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a four-time (–) South Korean national champion.
