Nicoletta ceccoli illustrations

Nicoletta Ceccoli was born in 1973 in the Republic of San Marino. She graduated from the State Institute of Art in Urbino (Italy), in the section of animation. She is working as illustrator of children’s books since 1995.

She illustrated numerous books with USA, UK, Italian, Swiss and Taiwanese publishers, among others: Random house, Simon and Shuster, Houghton Mifflin, Mondadori, Grimm press, Fabbri, Arka, Fatatrac, St. Paul, etc. Her books have been translated in France, Korea, Mexico, Spain and the United States.

In 2001 she get, in Italy, the Andersen Prize “Baia delle favole” as the best illustrator of the year. In 2002 her illustrations for Pinocchio published by Mondadori have received “Award of Excellence” from Communication Arts (USA).
