History of tom ford fragrances

Tom Ford fashion designer, film director, announced the creation of his own brand in 2005. The company offers fashions, accessories, eye wear, fragrances, for which a partnership was formed with Estee Lauder that same year.

The first fragrance produced under this alliance, Black Orchid (2006) was an immediate success. A series of successful fragrances for men and women have since been launched, along with a prestige line, Tom Ford Private Blend, whose first fragrance was Purple Patchouli in 2007.

Tom Ford's success has been recognized by a number of awards including: five awards from the prestigious council of fashion designers of America (CFDA) ; Four VH-1/ Vogue Fashion Awards; People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people award; the Fashion Editor's club of Japan; two ace awards from the US accessory council, and many others.
