The Site

Dagat Dagatan is a reclamation project of former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos. It was, before, a big fish pond bound in the south southwest by Navotas, in the northwest by Malabon and in the east by Caloocan.

The rise of a big populace in these areas became deleterious and detrimental to the fish ponds that fish ceased to survive in the fishponds.
