When we think of a sofa we often imagine it as a not very dynamic object on which the human body sits, lies down, moves, looking for, and possibly finding, the most comfortable position.

Modern (and very famous) design seat contributed to this impression, associating a single possible posture to the body. Today, despite a radical change in the culture of living and 'sitting', that has changed the concept of well-being, associating it when possible with sensory, tactile and visual comfort, many sofas, chairs and armchairs have remained tied to those immobile concepts.
